The Three-Phase Housing Model
Recover. Elevate. A.N.D.
Each phase of the REAP model is designed to build on the last. Residents move through the program at a pace that reflects their growth — not a fixed timeline. The goal is not speed. The goal is readiness.
Recover focuses on stabilization, structure, routine development, accountability, safety, and personal foundation building. Residents establish the daily rhythms that make growth possible.

Elevate focuses on increased responsibility, employment readiness, financial literacy, food sustainability participation, independent living preparation, transportation readiness, and long-term planning. Residents build the skills and confidence to lead their own lives.

A.N.D means A New Direction. This is an optional graduate housing pathway for residents who would benefit from additional time building sustainable independence through lease responsibility, budgeting, credit development, transportation readiness, and long-term transition planning.

Food Security & Sustainability
Growing More Than Food
Food security is central to REAP because hunger affects stability, confidence, decision-making, health, and long-term independence. REAP's food security model is designed to teach residents how to plan, grow, prepare, preserve, and sustain food as a life skill.
Food security is not an extra feature — it is woven into every phase of the REAP model. Residents learn to grow, harvest, preserve, and prepare food — skills that serve them long after they leave the program.

Transportation Readiness & Vehicle Match Support
Independence Requires Getting There
REAP Transitional Housing recognizes that independence in rural communities often depends on reliable transportation. Residents need access to work, school, appointments, groceries, community resources, and daily responsibilities.
As residents progress through the program, REAP will support transportation readiness through driver's license preparation, safe driving education, budgeting, insurance education, vehicle maintenance awareness, and long-term transportation planning. For eligible residents in the graduate transition stage, REAP's future vehicle savings/match support is designed to help residents work toward reliable used transportation without creating unsafe debt or dependency.

Seeking Transportation Partners
REAP is seeking future partnerships with mechanics, auto dealers, driving schools, insurance professionals, transportation providers, and vehicle maintenance supporters who want to help young adults build safe, responsible transportation independence.
